With the honor of being the lightest outboard in its class, Tohatsu’s new 20-hp MFS electronic fuel injection (EFI) design is a great choice for a wide variety of boaters. Just because it’s lighter than our previous 20hp four-stroke engine doesn’t mean this model will offer a different level of performance. This Tohatsu outboard 20hp, battery-less, battery-less electronic fuel-injected four-stroke has exceptional torque and top speed with a low pulse. We chose to build an EFI outboard because it has an easy starting with no choke required and smooth, crisp acceleration in all RPM ranges. Another added benefit of an EFI compared to our previous carbureted outboard is the fuel efficiency at full throttle, allowing you to go up to 50% farther on less fuel.

The power tilt feature is also available on many models. The 20hp Tohatsu outboard and 20 hp Power Tilt are ideal for inflatable, fishing, and pontoon boats.
